Web Class For New Volunteers

New volunteers don't give presentations. Instead, they help us out at fairs, exhibits, trainings, safety blitzes, etc.

To be considered for a Presenter Training class, you will first need to become a Volunteer and work at several local Operation Lifesaver events.

Steps to follow to become an Operation Lifesaver Volunteer
1. Watch the Web Class Video
2. Read the Sex Offender Registry Check Policy, Harassment Policy and complete the Volunteer Application and sign that you have read them.
3. Complete this post-course test.
4. Mail the signed Volunteer Application, signed Sex Offender Registry Check Policy, and completed post-course test to your State Coordinator.

Professional truck drivers need to practice safe driving when at highway-rail grade crossings. This five-minute, educational video reviews the legal responsibilities of the drivers as they approach and travel over highway-rail grade crossings, and helps provide situational awareness by highlighting important aspects of railroad operations at crossings.
