dedicated to ending deaths and injuries at highway-rail grade

Operation Lifesaver launches "Common Sense" Campaign
TALLAHASSEE – Use “Common Sense” every day, especially around train tracks, is the message of Operation Lifesaver. Operation Lifesaver, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Transportation and major railroad companies, is launching a “Common Sense” public awareness safety campaign to reduce train-related pedestrian deaths and injuries.
With 26 pedestrian rail trespass deaths in 2008, Florida is among those states with the highest number of pedestrian rail trespass deaths nationwide.
